Vasilii Shastin

I was born on May 28, 1971. I have a higher mathematical education with a specialization in algebra. I started my career in 1988, having come as an apprentice turner to a small metalworking workshop. Having acquired the profession of a turner, I continuously improved and worked as a turner until 2007. In 2000, I entered the Ivanovo State University at the Faculty of Mathematics and graduated in 2006. In 2007, I received an offer of a position as a CNC programmer engineer. It was then that I began to get acquainted with Starrag RCS. As my competencies grew, in 2008 I became a leading CNC software engineer, actually heading the support service for CNC control programs. In 2017, I headed a group of CNC software engineers, continuing to improve the skills of developing CNC control programs. Since 2015, I have mastered Siemens NX. After the acquisition of the Liechti Turbomill 2600 and Liechti g-Mill 550 Twin machine tools by the plant in 2020, I studied Turbosoft and became practically a key specialist of the enterprise. I took part in R&D development, was at the origins of the creation of Russia's first low-speed turbine for nuclear power plants, developed and implemented the largest turbine blade in Russia (length 2100 mm) and the largest hollow turbine blade guide unit (length 1800 mm, width 680 mm).
