Mô tả công việc

Workshop Operations Management

Oversee production planning, line rotations, downtime, scrap rates, sub-material usage, team relations, productivity, equipment, and safety.

Prepare and submit relevant operational reports.

System & Data Management

Manage SAP/MES systems: ensure timely data updates and leverage data for operational improvements.

Provide training to Assistant Production Supervisors and team members on product specifications, line control, Kaizen, zero-defect initiatives, and QC tools.

Team Supervision & Performance

Supervise inspection and material handling activities.

Monitor sub-material usage and evaluate team performance.

Recommend promotions/demotions and directly assess team leader performance and responsiveness to issues.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Collaborate with other departments to enhance workshop efficiency.

Act as a backup team leader, set production targets, and conduct regular performance evaluations.

Process & Standards Development

Participate in the development of PFMEA, standards, work instructions, procedures, and processes.

Implement ECN, PCN, and horizontal deployment activities.

Goal Alignment & Action Planning

Understand and align with departmental goals to support quality and delivery targets.

Develop and execute action plans to achieve objectives.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure adherence to company policies and standards in the following areas:

a. 5S & Kaizen

b. Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)

c. RBA & Social Responsibility

d. Asset Protection

Quality & Systems Integration

Support and contribute to Molex’s TQM, Six Sigma, ISO, and EHS systems by following established policies and procedures.

Other Duties

Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Education:

Required: College degree or higher

Work Experience:

Required: Minimum 7 years in manufacturing (or 4 years with higher qualifications)

Skills & Abilities:

Strong understanding of product functionality

In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes

Training, coaching, and basic management skills

Defect analysis, problem-solving, and measurement tool proficiency

Performance evaluation capabilities

Ability to create standards and work instructions

Strong interpersonal skills

Supervisory experience and SAP/ MES knowledge

Proficiency in English
