- Days/Hours: Monday - Saturday, work in shift
- Department: Production
- Reports To: Manufacturing Supervisor
- Overall, Purpose of the Role:
This position is responsible for the quality and productivity of all production employees staffed on designated cells, as well as departmental safety. Additionally, the Manufacturing Team Leader position is accountable for ensuring that production scheduled for completion is executed in a timely manner and within all quality procedures and for participation in performance management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
General and Task Management
Work to ensure people and resources are applied in an efficient and effective manner to meet delivery requirements while achieving quality and safety standards
Ensure team compliance with Health & Safety and 5S rules throughout the sector, including reporting and managing incidents and near misses
Escalate any disruptions occurring during the shift according to the escalation process
Monitor change over and/or cell set up efficiency
Prepare line set-ups for following shifts, including OK 1st part buyoffs
Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems that arise during the production process with collaboration with MQE, Method, Maintenance team
People Management
Coordinate with Training team to train for cell operators for new skills and processes
Lead level 1 short interval cycle according to lean manufacturing rules, ensuring the quality of information provided to the Supervisor for level 2 short interval cycle
Communicate and driving team to meet all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) from the strategic annual plan so that each employee is aware of expectations and deliverables
Work positively with Method, Maintenance, MQE, PE to fully define the processes/procedures/controls relevant to team activities. Provide support and input to continuous improvement activities within the team
Relationship Management
Interface with Production Planner to determine schedules for shift production
Liaise and communicate with other departments (CS&Q, MM, PE, SERE, WH) and ensure an effective interface is maintained
Feedback to the Production Management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimize results

Yêu cầu công việc
Graduated from high school, college or higher in mechanical engineering, electrics, industrial management, production technology or related fields.
1-2 years’ experience in a hands-on assembly or production role.
At least 1 year of experience leading a team of 5 or more people.
Attention to detail and the ability to focus on a busy environment.
Experience of leading small group activities to drive improvement ideas
Experience of assisting and developing (multi-skilled) people is an advantage
Strong PC skills and experience of packages such as Microsoft office 365, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint.
Experience using ERP Systems is an advantage
